Requesting deletion
You can request deletion of your My Joy of Giving account and associated personal data.
How to request
- Signed-in users (Android / API): `DELETE /api/user` with your account password and confirmation value `DELETE`.
- Signed-in users (website): Profile → Delete account (password + type DELETE).
- Or submit a request via Help / Support or Contact, using the email/mobile registered on your account.

What we delete
- Account profile fields and login credentials for the deleted account.
- Personal content that is no longer required to operate the service or meet legal obligations.
What we may retain
- Records we must keep for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons (period to be confirmed by counsel).
- Anonymized or aggregated analytics that no longer identify you.
Timing
We aim to process verified deletion requests within a commercially reasonable period. Exact SLA will be confirmed by the owner.
