- •Create Food Provider hotel surplus listings (use Food Provider role for that)
- •Skip verification or profile gates required for full access
How an NGO uses the platform, step by step

Step 1: Register as an NGO
Create an NGO account and sign in.

Step 2: Complete the organisation profile
Fill in the organisation profile. The NGO portal and its tools unlock only after this profile is complete.

Step 3: Use the Food Rescue board
Open the Food Rescue board to see surplus food near you and request a pickup. Your organisation can also list food itself.

Step 4: Manage pickup assignments
Open your assignments, accept one, schedule the pickup, then confirm pickup and confirm delivery as the work happens.

Step 5: Share your impact
Publish impact posts about completed work so donors can see where help went.

Step 6: Request donated items
Verified NGOs can request items from the donation feed without the daily request limit that applies to individual accounts.

Step 7: Choose food you can collect in time
On the Food Rescue board, request only the listings your team can reach and collect before the food stops being available.
Safety tips
- Keep your organisation profile accurate. Verified NGOs are not limited to 5 requests a day.
- Collect only what your organisation can distribute in time.
- Food listings can be available up to 12 hours ahead, so plan pickups within the time shown on each listing.
- Share pickup details only with the volunteers and staff who are handling that assignment.
What happens next
- Each status you confirm is shown to the donor and the receiver, so everyone can follow the pickup.
- Keep your NGO profile complete and current so donors and food partners can trust your requests.
- After a delivery, publish an impact post so donors and food partners can see where their help went.
